We’re pioneering mobile energy storage technology, leveraging vertical integration and a software-enabled service model to deliver last-mile electrification for our customers and communities.The RoleAs our Warehouse Team Lead, you’ll be responsible for mentoring a team to deliver operational excellence across all warehouse functions. The Lead will join a team that plays an integral role in delivering material to the line in just in time fashion. This individual will work hand in hand with the Shift Supervisor & cross-functional teams, ensuring that their team is set up for success to work safely and productively, and serving as the point of escalation for daily operations.What you’ll do:Support in maintaining a highly accurate inventory report and highly efficient and safe warehouse operation to ensure continued supply to the manufacturing lines.Allocate labor as needed throughout a variety of different functions.Maintain a well-organized warehouse with all materials identifiable and in the system.Assist with Root Cause Corrective Action analysis related to KPIs like Delivery, Safety, Quality & Productivity.Give daily and weekly reports that help create, implement, and improve procedures, standards, and equipment to facilitate more safe and efficient work.Assume responsibility for departmental goals including inventory control through cycle counts and participate in achieving goals on a daily basis.Provide associates with the necessary tools and proper guidance to excel at daily tasks.Coordinate with manufacturing and material planning teams to mitigate shortages or surplus.Complete auditable records: packing slips, pick lists, shift handoff paperwork.Deliver materials from warehouse to manufacturing line when needed.Assist in training warehouse associates on warehouse and operational procedures.Skills to be Successful:Experience with various Warehouse Management Systems.Proven ability to mentor & lead warehouse associates.Self-motivated, positive, and a team player.Demonstrating experience as an effective communicator with the ability to lead a team.Ability to perform repetitive duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods of time.Strong Forklift background and certification.Ability to work within different IT systems and tools: ERP, WMS, Microsoft Office, etc.Must be able to handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs.Excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success.Open availability to work all shifts, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.Implementation of training on warehouse and operational functions.Providing daily/weekly reports on warehouse projects/tasks.Nice to have:Previous Warehouse experience in a manufacturing setting.Self-starter, able to adapt and prioritize in a rapidly growing and changing environment.Experience in delivery to line procedures.RF - Smart Inventory Management software.Shift and Compensation details:Shift: 1pm-9:30pmCompensation: $30-32/HRAt Moxion you get:Health, dental, and vision coverage, PTO, competitive equity & compensation packages, free lunch, coffee, and snacks onsite, flexible work from home (for some roles), free tax advisory services, access to Mountain Hardware, Columbia, Sorel, & Prana employee stores and discounts, company swag, investment in professional development courses, and parental leave program.We Value:People are at the core of Moxion’s values.
