WHAT YOU'LL DO:The Director of Engineering will be responsible for the overall maintenance operations of the hotel including effectively leading the maintenance department, managing projects and repairs, assisting safety training, and more.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILLEffectively run a Preventative Maintenance ProgramOversee and coordinate major/minor maintenance in all areas of the hotel & restaurantSchedule staff to ensure responsiveness to maintenance requests from hotel guestsUse proper safety measures when operating any equipment, according to OSHA regulations and hotel requirementsManage and develop Maintenance team
About YouMinimum 3 years prior experience as the head of engineering preferably in a hotel/resort environment specific to dealing with electrical, plumbing and carpentry repairAbility to read blueprints/schematicsHigh School graduate or equivalent vocational trainingAbility to work flexible schedules to meet business needs (AM, PM, Weekends and/or Holidays)
