The NCI-Designation recognizes the scientific leadership, resources, and the depth and breadth of the research in basic, clinical and population science. As a Comprehensive Cancer Center, we demonstrate the added depth and breadth of research as well as substantial transdisciplinary research that bridges these scientific areas.Required QualificationsThree (3) years' Nurse Practitioner experience with an adult inpatient patient populationTriage skillsSkilled in performing complex physical assessmentRequires flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Health locations and in varying schedules as outlinedPreferred QualificationsMinimum of 1 year of recent, related oncology experience in adult populationDemonstrated clinical experience in oncology care, including chemotherapy/biotherapy administration, patient education, and care coordinationLicense/CertificationCalifornia driver's license (CDL) if required for position.Current national certification from an accepted certifying agency and provide by first day of work.Hold a current and active RN and NP and Furnishing license in California.Complete a BRN recognized graduate master's degree program as a nurse practitioner.Obtain an active and/or transferable DEA license to California and provide evidence by 90th day of clinical practice.Submit enrollment with CMS Medicare and Medicaid through credentialing by first clinical day.Current AHA BLSCurrent AHA ACLSState regulation requires that you have a supervising physician to practice.Incumbents with less than 6 months of NP experience will be hired as a Nurse Practitioner 1About UCSFAt UCSF Health, our mission of innovative patient care, advanced technology and pioneering research is redefining what's possible for the patients we serve.Pride ValuesUCSF is a diverse community made of people with many skills and talents.
