AssemblyAI is growing quickly, and we’re searching for a strong Account Executive who will play a key role in expanding our business globally. In this role you’ll have the opportunity to:Own a named set of strategic accounts with the highest revenue potential.Leverage a team selling approach to orchestrate outbound prospecting efforts and create opportunities with prospective customer accounts.Work with existing large customers to expand existing use cases and cross-sell into new use cases.Drive account planning activities for assigned accounts, leveraging an internal team of pre-sales and post-sales experts to drive alignment around key customer outcomes.Build relationships with technical leaders of strategic accounts. Guide key stakeholders (CTOs, Product Managers, Founders) from leading tech companies through the process of choosing and integrating our API, and working to constantly improve the overall experience.Become a product expert for our API. Employ a relationship-driven and highly consultative sales approach and understand our competitive landscape.Requirements

5+ years of sales experience selling into enterprise clients – with most of those years spent in a closing role.Strong technical sales experience and comfort working with key stakeholders in engineering, product, and AI (e.g. CTO, CPO, etc.).Experience navigating a complex sales cycle and closing large ($500M+), annual recurring revenue (ARR) deal opportunities.Comfortable building on current sales playbook—offering an industry-leading, developer-first approach.You are experienced in selling complex technical solutions to clients (e.g. Developer APIs).Track record of over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company) in past positions.Skills
