Work collaboratively across teams to help implement and maintain data infrastructure and pipelines, ensuring data quality and availability while collaborating with machine learning researchers, software engineers, chemists, and other stakeholders to ensure our platform is world class.Work with the team to make high-level infrastructure architecture decisions and work closely with stakeholders to implement those decisions.Experience and skills you should have
Several years deploying data-related/data-driven servicesSystem Architecture Design (in the cloud)Data Pipeline Tools (e.g. Kubeflow, Airflow, Prefect) - Automation and schedulingContainer Orchestration - Help to manage clusters responsible for data pipelines and model training; guide best practices for deploying services; optimize image size and compute usageWorked closely with an ML application team to deliver products - Familiarity with inference patterns (synchronous, streaming, batch); artifact management: moving models and data between environments, managing model promotion, loading models at runtime, etc.Infrastructure as Code - TerraformTesting Pipelines - Patterns for integration testing in CIBonus experience and skills
