Akira Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Recruiter to join our team on a contractual basis.

The Senior Recruiter will oversee all recruiting activities and manage the full cycle recruiting process; from sourcing to negotiation and closing. The right individual will also oversee and participate in searches and screening of candidates through referrals, social media, and other sources. Must be able to creatively source candidates from multiple channels inclusive of research, social media, networking, and so forth. You will also manage all phases of candidate interviews inclusive of phone interviews, debriefing meetings, and online interviews. The right individual ensures the selection of the topmost talent in the market through the assessment of capabilities and experience.

The Technical Recruiter’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Design and implement overall recruiting strategy to source qualified candidates weekly on various openings in multiple states.

Close candidates that have been sourced within a week of sourcing.

Technically discuss qualifications of sourced candidates that may work on government facilities, ensuring certifications and clearance information is up to date.

Screen candidates' resumes and job applications and conduct technical interviews to filter candidates within an appropriate time schedule.

Develop a working knowledge of departments to quickly identify hiring needs.

Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards/newspapers/colleges, etc.

Source and recruit candidates using databases, social media, and other creative sources.

Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes.

Keep candidates updated on their status in the onboarding process.

Provide analytical and well-documented recruiting reports to the HR Director daily or as directed.

Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.

Participate in weekly recruitment meetings with updated recruiting efforts.

Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field.

3-5 years working with government contractors.

Experience in multi-state recruiting.

Adept in speaking with candidates about their technical capabilities.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Knowledge of leading applicant tracking systems.

Experience with social media platforms.
