This is a Hybrid position, position will work in the office 3 times per week (Tuesday-Thursday). Must be in the DMV area.

Sylver Rain Consulting is an IT solutions provider and proven expert in providing skilled consultants to meet any business need. We specialize in custom software development, cloud computing, IT project support services, 508 compliance, helpdesk, operations & maintenance and systems integration. Sylver Rain is currently looking for an experienced technical recruiter to support our Washington DC team.

The Recruiter works with Leadership, HR and Proposal Management in the Washington DC office to determine hiring requirements. Partner with hiring managers to recruit and select qualified candidates. Analyzes hiring metrics to identify areas of opportunity for improved quality of hire. Recommend process improvements to reduce time to fill positions, align recruitment practices to employment branding.

Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesWorks with Leadership to develop comprehensive recruitment strategy.Screens, selects, interviews and evaluates potential candidatesIdentifies/researches alternative recruitment methods such as online recruitment methods, professional organizations, technical programs and universities to target technically skilled individualsWorks with HR to ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws related to hiring. Monitors internal compliance with EEO/FCCProvides recommendations to leadership in determining recruitment budget for job fairs, campus events, recruitment tools and vendor eventsWrites and posts advertisements and job postingsEnsures up-to-date recruitment metrics are maintained and provided to Senior Leadership on a weekly basis, detailing hiring activity to include: number of openings, average days open, average fill days, incumbent, location, business unit and statusPromotes equal opportunity employment by analyzing results of outreach efforts and modifying recruitment efforts based on thoseImplements diversity recruitment initiatives and participates in applicable recruitment conferences and outreachAscertains applicants' qualifications by conducting interviews, tests, and reference checks, coordinates interview schedule with hiring manager and conducts intake meetings and feedback sessions.Maintains accurate and up-to-date recruitment and applicant backlogRemains up-to-date on latest recruitment technologies, makes recommendations on recruitment sourcing initiatives and advises client groups of latestCommunicates hiring process to leadership and establishes positive working relationships with hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies per their business needsAssist hiring managers with the development of job descriptions ensuring consistent practicesWork with group lead and hiring manager to ensure approvals and salary ranges are gained for opening requisitions and extending offersProactively source through research, applicant sourcing websites (Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.) cold- calling, referrals, organizations, events, etc. to generate qualified candidatesPipelining and Talent Mapping to determine top talent in the IndustryScreen resumes for open positionsSchedule and conduct interviews to determine organizational fitProcess, extend and negotiate offers as needed while maintaining confidentiality and respect at all timesMaintain applicant tracking systemAchieve/exceed Team Recruiting Metrics on a quarterly and yearly basisQualifications and Skills

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years technical recruiting and sourcing experienceMust have a Bachelor's DegreeStrong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral) and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse communityPreferred Skills:

Strong sourcing skills (cold-calling and networking) resulting in filling highly niche rolesExperience recruiting for professional services and small government contractors firmsAbility to gather data, consistently track metrics, and prepare reportsAbility to work with a high degree of self-direction and flexibility, especially with respect to taking initiative, prioritizing tasks, and resolving problems
