This is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) transformation Microsoft is leading. The Finance Manager - Azure Artificial Intelligence Revenue Planning will drive deep business impact in the Azure AI business by focusing on AI revenue planning and designing new cloud consumption frameworks to support key solution plays and sales motions as part of the Innovation Acceleration Program (IAP).The Finance Manager will partner closely with the Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions (MCAPS) Sales, Corporate, and Area Field teams to understand our customers' needs and develop consumption analytics that drive Azure rhythm of the business (ROB). You will be part of the MCAPS Core Finance Azure team and part of the Worldwide (WW) Azure Finance Community. As such, you will collaborate closely with Region Product Leaders, Corporate Engineering Group (EG) Finance Leads, and other product-aligned business leaders.Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. Partnership

Partner with MCAPS Sales, EG, and Marketing to drive cloud consumption analytics supporting critical Azure motions across solution areas, segments, and areas.Enable deeper understanding of key Azure workloads by building models that provide actionable insights and follow up with field leaders across Sales and Finance orgs.Understand business market insights, providing thought leadership to challenge business leads around new business opportunities/growth roadmap landscape.Develop and land scalable ROB frameworks that help simplify business performance analytics for Finance and Business Leadership Team.Processes

Accountable for Finance content within MCAPS ROB (e.g., Month End results, Quarterly Business reviews, Area performance reviews/Virtual solution units).Drive Cloud reporting and Business Intelligence work-streams supporting key Azure motions.Present at Corporate Finance Leadership Team reviews and MCAPS Corporate Vice President monthly business reviews.This role is part of a 5-person team at MCAPS Corporate driving Azure ROB.People

Work closely with Microsoft sales areas Azure Finance managers and partner with the WW Community Lead to focus on the key insights and projects to accelerate our growth.Identify finance best practices and share them broadly across all areas.Connect the dots and help Field finance teams land the Corporate strategy or escalate issues and help needed.Other

Required/Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership, finance, or related field

OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field.OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Business partnering capabilities and analytical skills.Understanding of Finance Revenue Tools and Processes, ideally with experience in Product Controllership.Financial Analysis IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $72,800 - $144,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $95,100 - $157,900 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
