We provide ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy and diagnostic services to our clients and families in our centers, in homes, and in the community. We are currently in 4 states with 11 clinic locations, and our roadmap will bring us to 10 states and more than 50 clinics over the next 12-24 months. We have the resources and talent usually found at a more mature organization, including fully staffed teams to support IT, accounting, and clinic growth initiatives.Leadership OpportunityAre you an experienced business leader with expertise in financial performance? If you're up to the challenge, we want to hear from you!The Vice President of Operations will manage the operations of the Virginia/DC region with the potential to support additional areas in the future. This position will report to the Chief Operating Officer and be at the forefront of helping us grow and successfully operate our clinics.What You'll DoConduct business operations in alignment with mission, vision, and core valuesManage overall operations across multiple states with an effective business strategyOversee all performance, strategic growth, regulatory compliance/licensing, and insurance accreditation needs of clinics in the regionDevelop and manage the achievement objectives for each clinic with regard to operations, finance, clinical matters, and strategic growth of servicesReview and manage operating metrics and KPIs established for the region and individual centers, including recruitment, new client intake, scheduled treatment hours, billable hours for clinicians, and other measuresReview missed services reports and work with clinic Executive Directors to manage variance from scheduled hoursMake robust, data-driven decisions that elevate financial and operational performanceCoordinate leadership training for Executive DirectorsCollaborate with Clinical Directors and our Training & Professional Development department to monitor clinical quality metrics, schedule training sessions, and evaluate program effectivenessConvene regularly scheduled one-on-one and Executive Director team meetings to develop, communicate and implement growth strategiesCoordinate with functional departments (Clinical, Admissions, Marketing, IT, HR, Training, and Billing) to ensure that management teams in the region are properly supported and that the regional teams are providing critical information and deliverables back to the functional resource groupsParticipate in regional administrative meetings, workgroups, and best-practices sessionsHelp with community outreach efforts to develop potential referral sources along with the Regional Director of Clinical Outreach and center management teamsAdvise Executive Directors regarding issues concerning clients, caregivers, and/or team members that may arise in centersRequirementsEducation, Work-Experience, and Other RequirementsMBA or Master's in Healthcare of Public Administration10+ years of operations experienceHealthcare experienceDemonstrated track record of financial success and exemplary clinical careMulti-state experienceProven experience as a regional director of operations or similar role preferredBudget-management experienceAbility to travel 75% for site visits within regionAbility to maintain clean background/drug screenings and driving recordExpertise NeededProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareStrong business development and community-based relationship buildingAbility to provide effective guidance and leadership to diverse groups of individualsAbility to work under pressure to meet deadlinesExcellent organization, time management, and attention to detailJudgment and problem-solving skillsSelf-motivation and a “can-do” attitude with an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to take on an increasing level of responsibilitySummaryBenefitsThree weeks of paid time off to start (more added with tenure)Holiday Pay100% company-paid medical insurance plan optionDental, vision, long-term disability, and life insuranceGenerous 401(k) with up to 6% employer matchBonus potential based on performanceABA Centers of Virginia CultureABA Centers of Virginia is determined to maintain its startup culture with a team of seasoned professionals working toward a shared vision of creating the nation’s leading provider of autism care.
