North Float team serving the greater Los Angeles area.Primary Responsibilities:Optum Clinic Locations: the northern area of Los Angeles (San Fernando Valley, San Gabriel Valley, and parts of Los Angeles)Schedule: Per-DiemCovers PTO, LOA, vacancies, and CMEsMay also cover urgent careManage patient care in outpatient settingConsults, follow-up appointments, well-checks, schedule screeningsComfortable seeing patients of all ages; primarily adults/senior baseAverage Daily Patient Census: 18-20 patientsRequired Qualifications:Board eligible/Board certified in Family Medicine or Internal MedicineUnrestricted California Physician LicenseCurrent BLS, ACLS certificationCurrent California DEA certificate prior to start dateEMR ProficientDemonstrated excellent communication skills and time managementPreferred Qualifications:1+ years of post-residency experienceNew Grad Family Medicine and Internal Medicine residents are welcome to applyEMR ProficientCalifornia Residents Only: The hourly range for this role is $117.00 to $164.00 per hour.
