National Account Manager - Hispanic Grocery RetailThe National Account Manager will play a pivotal role in increasing the company's market share within key national and regional Hispanic retail grocery accounts on the West coast and throughout the US. In addition, this position will also own part of the value/dollar channel.For decades, my client has sold seafood products nationally and internationally to customers in regional and national grocery retailers. One of their biggest markets is in the Hispanic grocery retail sector where they provide high-quality fish to customers of all ages. My client is committed to food safety as they are an SQF-certified manufacturer. Through this commitment, they create delicious, ready-to-eat products that are sold at an affordable cost.DescriptionThe National Account Manager will be responsible for both acquiring and managing customers and distribution partners across all Hispanic grocery retailers. Leveraging your industry knowledge and experience working with grocery retailers in this market, you will be instrumental in building and enhancing relationships with key retailers, as well as developing new customers at the regional and national level. This role requires a candidate that is bilingual in English and Spanish.Profile5+ years of experience selling into Hispanic grocery retailers such as Fresco Foods, Cardinas, Vallarta Supermarkets, Supremas, to name a few.Develop and implement profitable sales strategies to drive and increase market share.Drive sales with existing accounts in regional and national Hispanic grocery chains.Manage the west coast territory and business develop into regional chains in the area.Cultivate strong relationships with retailers and brokers to maximize sales and distribution opportunities.Lead strategic planning for your accounts, including promotion calendars, new item introductions, trade management, post-promo effective analysis, and in-market program implementation.Analyze sales performance using IRI and Excel.Leverage existing relationships to increase market share.Attend industry trade shows to represent the brand and cultivate sales opportunities.Job Offer$130,000 - $160,000+ base salary range (depending on candidate experience).Annual bonus threshold; open to a commission plan instead.Full benefits options + retirement plan + vacation.Remote opportunity - 25-50% travel.Huge opportunity for promotional growth.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
