The position will involve providing advice and counsel on municipal law matters, drafting documents, legal research, and providing legal advice on complex legal issues.The position may also include representing City departments in commission/board meetings, and drafting agreements, ordinances, and resolutions.Qualifications
Attorneys must be licensed to practice and in good standing with the State Bar of California.Ability to analyze and develop creative resolutions to complex issues.Ability to exercise a high degree of maturity, judgment, and discretion in handling client matters, including high profile and politically sensitive issues.Experience with the Brown Act, California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), and land use law is desirable.Benefits
Benefits are excellent, and salary is negotiable, depending upon qualifications.Salary range: $80,905 - $120,117 per year.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.Job Type:
