We are looking to hire a Strategic Account Manager who will oversee two or more major dealer accounts in the Dallas, Texas region to collaborate with assigned internal and external teams to achieve dealer(s) and/or region(s) unit and dollar sales goals while simultaneously developing and maintaining professional relationships.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following:Conduct customer activities at the dealer or prospective dealer’s place of business, including:Demonstrate a strong understanding of the Nitto product line, including features, benefits, warranties, sizing, and applications.Generate sales.Solicit orders for Nitto products and services.Advocate product image of superior quality and value.Communicate the sales concept of best terms.Manage current campaigns and programs and assist the dealers’ sales and marketing programs.Distribute POP material and literature.Review various purchasing records and dealers’ inventories.Follow up on credit-related matters.Conduct product training online and in person.Attend various dealer events (open house/training/product releases) within the assigned territory.Submit a daily report on internal CRM.Target prospective dealers and introduce/sign them on Nitto’s associate dealer program, Enthusiast Circuit.Develop strategic recommendations and coherent action plans based on competitive intelligence findings.Partner with Product Development and Marketing peers to act upon recommendations, including project management.Communicate strategic threats or opportunities based on gathered market/competitive data.Lead market and competitive analysis activities, leveraging both analyst information and external intelligence as a basis for product and strategy decision-making.Collaborate with Senior Management, Marketing, and Sales to develop the overall product strategies.Establish a dependable network in all markets within the assigned region.Attain assigned market penetration per company objectives.Prepare monthly itineraries by planning work and calls efficiently and effectively.Furnish detailed competitive information regularly, which includes products, prices, marketing activities, sales programs, product problems, etc.Monitor Nitto production performance versus competitors and help identify new product needs.Identify new product opportunities with profit-minded and cost-conscious practices.Other duties may be assigned.QUALIFICATIONSSelf-starter with effective relationship building and management skills, consultative selling skills, as well as presentation and communication skills, able to ask for the sale.Good reasoning and analytical skills; must possess a strong business sense.Solid customer service skills with the ability to listen, problem solve, and strategically plan.Strong intuition and awareness, cross-group collaboration skills, and a drive for excellence.Superior interpersonal abilities and represent the company in a professional and congenial manner in person, in conversations, and all written correspondences.Attention to accuracy and detail in all aspects of responsibilities and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.Complete work and demonstrate prompt responsiveness to all levels of the organization.Ability to analyze complex competitor activities to make recommendations.Work ethically with integrity in supporting the organization’s goals and values.Contribute to building a positive team spirit and treat others with respect.Foster collaboration toward a common vision and shared goals.Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.Ability to travel 70% - 75% of the time with overnight accommodations, including some weekends.Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving history.Ability to follow company policies and safety guidelines.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEA Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university is required. A minimum five years of current sales experience with a successful track record. Experience working with major accounts and trade shows is a plus.
