You will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by prospecting, outbound calling, and presenting EBM print and digital advertising programs for the automotive repair industry's leading publications, FenderBender and Ratchet+Wrench.Day-in-the-Life:

As an Inside Sales Representative, a typical day may include the following:Sales: Cold calling and presenting the EBM suite of products daily.Develop relationships with new and existing advertisers and promote EBM brands.Account Management: Creating proposals. Servicing and maintaining existing clients through building rapport over the phone, email, handwritten cards, etc.Administration & Reporting: Diligently update all activity with prospects and customers each day in the company CRM system. Manage pipeline activity and personal campaign performance within assigned territory. Participate in weekly sales meetings and one-on-one manager meetings.Collaborate with other members of the sales team and other departments to ensure customer needs are met and sales goals are achieved.Close sales and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.No travel necessary.First Year in Role:Month 3: You will have learned the ins and outs of the role through a combination of classroom-style training, frequent practice and feedback, and side-by-side call listening.Month 6: You will be strategically managing your assigned sales territory, honing your skills in discovery, objection handling, and targeted messaging, and securing new business revenue through closed sales.Month 12: You will be a leader on the team and take an active part in improving the team as a whole, developing more advanced sales skills, process improvements, and consistently growing your region by closing sales.Education/Work Experience/Special Skills:Business to business inside sales experience showing consistent achievement of quota (preferred but not required).Background in outbound cold-calling preferred but not required.Curious and active listener: You have a deep hunger to learn, coupled with a willingness to experiment. You ask a lot of questions. You recognize there is a difference between "hearing" and "listening" and you even pick up on what's not being said.Resilient and self-motivated: You're always striving to build upon previous successes. You realize that the quickest path to success is through quick failures, so you aren't afraid to jump in and try something new.Detail oriented: The little things matter! You're able to craft a process that keeps you on track.Tech savvy: You love experimenting with new technology, and you quickly learn and adapt to new processes.Exceptional verbal and written communicator: You are clear, concise, professional, and engaging over the phone. You have the ability to write a confident, persuasive, and professional email.Collaborative: When we all succeed, we're better for it. You share your recipe for success without even being asked.Must be local (Twin Cities metro area).

In the spirit of transparency, we are excited to share the OTE for this position is $60,000 - $65,000/yr. in the first year.
