You’ll model and perform the highest standards of service as you foster a positive atmosphere for everyone you come into contact with. You will:This role will oversee a multi-facet location including quick service cafe, full-service bar, full-service buffet/dining, and caterings/after-hours events.Day to day oversight and accountability for opening, closing and operating functions of this multi-faceted operation ensuring exceptional ambassador development, guest engagement and food quality.Maintain a clean and safe environment for all Ambassadors, guests, and animals.Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.Develop Ambassadors through training, feedback and coaching.Respond to guest and Ambassador needs.Own Ambassador scheduling, training, food ordering and equipment.Assist leadership with supervision of planning, directing, and organizational needs of the department with a focus in Catering, Special Events and Consumer Events & Festivals.What it takes to succeed:At least 18 years of age.At least 1 year of experience in the food and beverage industry or similar high volume leadership capacity.Able to lead and develop ambassadors in daily job tasks.Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership abilities.Able to work with and lead ambassadors in areas that sell and serve alcohol.A role model for SEA safety, guest service, attendance, cleanliness and wardrobe standards.Flexible, detail oriented and customer focused.Excellent organizational, multi-tasking and time-management skills.A valid Driver’s license and ability to meet company driving guidelines preferred.Able to complete a Food Safety Manager certification and pass the exam.Lift, carry, push and pull up to 50lbs. on a frequent basis.Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout work shift.Frequent bending from waist to floor, kneeling, squatting, simple hand grasping work and fine hand manipulation (computer work/typing, writing).Occasional overhead reaching and climbing stairs and ladders.Work both indoors and outdoors, exposed to a variety of weather conditions.Perform all cleaning duties, including use of cleaning chemicals.Able to work a flexible schedule (Includes: Weekends, holidays, catering events and evening hours).Flexible in work locations as placement will depend on business needs and career development opportunities.The perks of the position:Paid Time Off.Complimentary Park Tickets and Passes.Park Discounts on Food and Merchandise.Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance.401K Retirement plan.Voluntary Insurance.Life Insurance.Disability Benefits.Tuition Reimbursement.Dependent and Health Care Flexible Spending Accounts.Employee Assistance Program.Legal Assistance Plan.EEO Employer:SEAWORLD PARKS & ENTERTAINMENT IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
