And under this roof, we protect what matters most.Team or Function OverviewThe Siplast Strategic Marketing Team partners with Siplast stakeholders to provide customer-focused digital and traditional marketing initiatives that are tightly aligned with the market development efforts of our product and technology leaders, driving segment growth.SummaryThe Strategic Marketing Manager is a key member of the Siplast Strategic Marketing Team and will be responsible for setting the promotion and communications strategy to drive loyalty of Siplast products within defined business segments. He/she will lead our demand creation and demand capture efforts, while supporting sales and business development efforts in the defined business segments. The Strategic Marketing Manager collaborates across the organization to help define strategies that support the business unit’s annual objectives as well as the longer term (3-5 year) strategy, and in doing so he/she will design marketing campaigns that create awareness, generate and capture demand, support new product launches and accelerate key business segment initiatives. In addition to defining the marketing strategy, the Strategic Marketing Manager will have direct involvement in managing the tactical execution of campaigns and product launch elements owned by marketing.Essential DutiesSpecific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Develop and lead execution of strategic marketing plans to support the business unit’s key initiatives and growth goals, inclusive of product commercialization support.Generate demand through a broad mix of digital and traditional channels, and measure results against key metrics.Coordinate with in-house Siplast or other GAF resources, and/or external resources to develop and deploy targeted campaigns, develop/execute SEO content, blog content, sales enablement tools, earned media, PR and other digital/traditional marketing tactics in support of strategic plans.Develop annual marketing budget; responsible for managing annual spend.Monitor and analyze competitive activity as well as available third party and proprietary data to inform business strategy decisions and adjust strategies as appropriate to maximize share growth; lead market research efforts where appropriate.Support trade show activities; collaborate with Associate Tradeshow and Event Specialist, business development manager(s), and related vendors.Provide product commercialization support to defined business segments and coordinate launch efforts with various other Siplast personnel.Physical Demands● Ability to frequently work in a stationary position for long periods of time (such as sitting and/or standing at a desk)● Ability to occasionally move about to accomplish tasks or to move from one work area to another● Close visual acuity to view documents, computer screens, and files● Ability to frequently converse with and convey information to others on the phone and in-person● Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment and keyboards● Ability to move up to 10 lbs. occasionally and up to 30 lbs. rarelyUnder This Roof, We Require● Bachelor's degree preferably in Marketing, Digital Marketing or related field● Strong background and understanding of Commercial Construction and the Building Envelope● Experience in developing content to support traditional and digital marketing campaigns to specific audiences.
