This program enables high school juniors and seniors to take CU Denver courses in their high schools for dual credit during the school day. Minimum Qualifications:All applicants must be currently employed by a Colorado High School.Masters Degree or 18 credit hours at the graduate level in the discipline you are seeking approval in.Application Material Instructions:When applying, applicants must include:A letter of application which specifically addresses the job requirements and outlines qualifications.A current Resume/CV.Official or unofficial transcripts from all institutions attended.Two letters of recommendation.Detailed, CU Denver-style syllabus for the proposed course(s).CU Succeed Lecturer Approval Request Form listing the course(s) you are seeking approval for and the High School's Principal's signature.Please do not submit any of your application material (via email) to the job posting contact.*Letters of recommendation should be from individuals who can provide information about your knowledge in the field, your teaching skills, and other qualifications that make you qualified to teach at the university level. Letters can be from colleagues.**Syllabus guidelines and CU Succeed approved courses can be found on our website under the "Lecturers" tab.Special Instructions:You must also provide the following information if you are seeking appointment to teach a Modern Language course through the CU Succeed Program:Sample lesson plans/course materials.Assessment criteria and sample tests, including final exam.A video recording (electronic or DVD): Please preview to be sure that the voices are clear and that the writing on the board is legible. The video must be of the course the instructor wishes to offer for CU Denver credit.Clearly indicate on the DVD or in the subject line of the electronic copy with course level and date.Include a thirty-minute segment.Show interaction with students (we want to hear how they sound, too!).Include at least a ten-minute segment showing grammar instruction.After you complete this application please follow the instructions below to submit your video.DVD:Please send a clearly marked DVD to the address below:CU SucceedCampus Box 144, P.O.
