Position Summary

The Regional Sales Manager reports to the VP Territory Sales.

Located in Dallas, TX.

Full-Time

Hybrid

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Manage the sales and development activities of the territory.

Develop and implement strategic sales plans that align with corporate goals.

Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals.

Review market analyses to determine customer needs and pricing.

Oversee staffing, training, and performance evaluations.

Coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories and quotas.

Advise manufacturers, dealer reps, and customers on sales techniques.

Analyze sales statistics to formulate policy and assist Business Development Managers.

Represent the company at trade association meetings.

Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume and potential sales.

Supervise 3-12 employees within the designated sales territory.

Other duties may be assigned.

Competencies

Ability to effectively “hunt” for new customers.

Ability to prepare compelling presentations and close deals.

Ability to build and sustain productive relationships with customers.

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and commissions.

Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook software.

Preferred

Knowledge of leadership applications and motivational techniques.

Knowledge of employee development strategies.

Ability to read and interpret general business concepts and regulations.

Ability to effectively present information to groups.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent Military or practical experience.

1-2 years recent leadership experience.

5+ years food service industry experience.

ServSafe certification preferred.

Ability to pass a background check post offer acceptance.
