In this position, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining business relationships with our customers in your assigned territory. Placement will occur ASAP.Position ResponsibilitiesDevelops new business relationships with potential & existing customers and meets KPIs regarding prospecting & closing deals.Understands customer business models and product needs.Crafts solutions for customers that meet and exceed their requirements.Prospects new clients in assigned territory.Works to expand sales with existing clients.Acts as a subject matter expert on all product lines.Provides reports on progress in territory and opportunities for growth.Responds to RFQs as necessary.Works closely with other teams on larger projects to ensure deliverables are met.Pursues VMI opportunities.Notifies customers of signature brand products.Works with core supplier target account programs by scheduling sales calls and presentations.Maintains established margin objectives.Encourages customer website usage.Travels when necessary.Other duties as assigned.Required ExperienceTHE MOST QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:CNC Machining experience, orIndustrial distribution or supply chain experienceKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS POSITION:Outside Sales experience is requiredMust be age 21+ in order to drive a company vehicleValid driver's license with clean driving recordDemonstrated experience managing and growing sales territoryAbility to quickly build relationships with key decision makers in client organizationsExcellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are requiredSelf-directed and possesses a high level of productivity and personal organizationPlans and organizes tasks & work responsibilities to achieve goals and objectives while remaining calm & professional under pressureProficient use of a Windows computer, Microsoft Office & TeamsThis job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
