Compensation:
$90,000 - $110,000 per year. You are eligible for a Short-Term Incentive Plan with the target at 10% of your annual earnings, terms and conditions apply.Manager, Warehouse Operations - Onsite, Aliso Viejo, CAResponsible for inbound receiving, warehouse operations, logistics management between the warehouse and laboratory, and shipping between warehouse locations. This position involves the planning, coordination, and supervision of the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of the storage and movement of goods to ensure operational excellence in warehousing and receiving/distribution activities. Will manage the inventory control function and cycle count performance.Essential Functions
Direct and support receiving/warehousing activities for raw materials, supporting laboratory operations with direct and indirect supplies.Strong knowledge and utilization of SAP with the Company’s recent addition of MM/PP modules.Drive overall cost savings (e.g. improvement of overtime costs) and streamlining current workflow processes with the warehouse and cross-functionally with Lab Operations.Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiencies across the supply chain by utilizing process improvement principles to achieve financial goals and improve overall operations.Utilize a value stream approach to ensure optimal physical warehouse design, materials flow, and to achieve internal logistics efficiencies, minimization of waste, and maximization of customer service levels.Create cycle count program with KPIs and trends for raw materials and WIP. Improve metrics by putting processes in place.Ensure compliance with regulations and company standards for cost control, EHS, and external agencies inventory policies and initiatives.Maximize employee retention and effectiveness through training and incentives. Perform required personnel-related activities and paperwork within established guidelines and timelines, i.e. employee development, performance management, etc.Lead and support a culture of safety and compliance with company safety policies and procedures. Monitor safety, security, and operational-related metrics to maintain a safe work environment, reporting any actual or potential safety hazards.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or equivalent related job experience.SAP warehousing and cycle counting experience required.Minimum 7 years distribution experience: Receiving, Shipping, Warehousing, Material Handling, and/or Inventory Control.Excellent leadership, negotiation, organizational, and analytical skills.Ability to summarize and transform data into action plans.Ability to manage and influence direct reports. Effectively hire, train, and develop personnel. Ability to delegate and get involved when the team needs help.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Understanding key financial measures and ability to exert fiscal control.Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple functional areas.Experience with cold chain storage and products with expiration.Preferred
APICS, ISM, Six Sigma certifications, a plus.Experience with 5S a plus.About Us:
