A national non-profit dedicated to the wellness of children is hiring an IT Project Manager. This is a remote position, but candidates must be able to work EST and ideally live on the east coast.

The position will have a key role in the management and delivery of projects as they progress through the software development lifecycle. This position is a key communicator and is responsible for collaborating with all ranges of staff including engineers, product owners, program managers, subject matter experts, and senior leadership. This position will work with stakeholders to develop the scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, and timing for software products.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience.Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as solid knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment.Basic competence in at least one programming language (e.g. Java, C Sharp, JavaScript, Python, SQL, etc.).A proven track record of successfully implementing software or web development projects using Agile methodologies including experience as a Project Manager managing complex projects in a development environment with multi-functional teams.Experience with project management tools such as JIRA and document management systems such as Confluence.Experience working in an Agile methodology and frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.Adaptability, flexibility, and ability to work as part of a team or in an individual capacity.Ability to handle and maintain the integrity and confidentiality of highly sensitive material and information.Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and opportunities.Produce reports on qualitative and quantitative benchmarks to measure and evaluate product goal achievement.Five years of relevant work experience in an agile environment.Must have one of the following: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) OR Certified Product Owner (CSPO) OR SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (PO/PM).What You Will Be Doing
