Role: Technical Program Manager Lead, DevOps

The Zoom DevOps organization is responsible for the production environment of Zoom’s product suite. In this role, you will manage technical programs to drive process and organizational improvements spanning Zoom, particularly in DevOps. This role will report directly to the Head of DevOps.We’re looking for someone who is technically inclined, able to navigate and partner with complex organizations successfully to drive alignment, organize planning activities, and drive sustained process improvements. You need to be willing and able to roll up your sleeves in the weeds of individual processes, develop and support projects end-to-end, and drive business outcomes.We Are Looking For People Who Have

Experience in information security program management, including gathering and transforming requirements into an actionable roadmapExperience in compliance controls and requirements, including the ability to translate to actionable requirements, processes, and procedures across multiple functional areasAbility to work across multiple teams and organizations to drive clarity and alignment to ensure successful execution of defined roadmap and deliverablesAbility to be flexible with a positive attitude and learn quickly in a dynamic environmentSelf-starter and intrinsically motivated with a history of successful project executionTop-notch written and oral communication skills, including experience presenting across all levels of the organization, including executive leadershipAbility to deliver and manage high quality detailed technical documentation and trainingIn This Role You Will

Build and manage security programs from inception to repeatable delivery with focus on strategic program objectives, optimizing program delivery and developing trusted relationships with key technology, functional leaders, and stakeholdersTranslate security objectives and controls into execution strategy, lead and successfully execute the strategy through strong collaboration across cross-functional teamsWork on high priority, high stakes projects that have broad and visible impactAnticipate and remove obstacles that slow down or prevent programs from delivering on program objectives, driving for clarity to keep teams moving forwardContinuously evaluate Zoom’s policies, procedures, controls, and defenses, highlighting areas of strength and weakness to continue to mature Zoom’s security practicesMonitor and resolve end-to-end processes for repetitive pain points/sticking points and blockersCreate controls, documentation, and policies that fit within Zoom’s Culture, based on ownership, quick iteration, and use of good judgmentManage Zoom’s Security program, ensuring identified security risks are appropriate, evaluated, tracked and mitigatedMaintain an understanding of the technical control implementation and the interplay between controls; create audit and monitoring frameworks to ensure stable control of operationsDrive projects that improve Zoom’s control infrastructure across the companyWork closely with the compliance team and maintain a working knowledge of global information security regulations and compliance standards to ensure that security controls meet or exceed all requirements for audit and certificationEffectively communicate program results to a broad audience, including engineers and senior leadershipRequirements

Bachelor's degreeExperience in an SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure technical program role.Prior roles have scope of influence >500 FTEs.Minimum 10 years of experience in program management in a technical field.Experience in Governance and Risk ManagementUnderstanding of global security and privacy regulations, certification processes, auditExperience writing security policy and controlsSalary Range or On Target Earnings

$134,300.00 - $310,500.00In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed, Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration base salary, bonus and equity value. Information about Zoom’s benefits is on our careers page.Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.
