Autodesk's Platform Services and Emerging Technologies group is looking for an experienced engineering manager that will be responsible for the User Management and Access platform.Our platform is at the forefront of the company's strategic investment and impact across Autodesk. The services and applications we build, own, and support are business-critical and must be highly available in order to provide our customers with seamless and intuitive access to manage their users. This experience is key to our business and one of our top initiatives around transformation and customer experience! You will report to the platform group lead in the organization and follow the hybrid work model based in the primary work location.Responsibilities

Experience managing engineering teams in multiple locationsMinimum BS in Computer Science or related technical fieldExperience working with event-driven architecture in a production environment with high availability.Grasp of the design, implementation, deployment, and operation of scalable API services (REST, GraphQL)Understanding of full-stack development ideally using JavaScript-based technologies such as Node.jsExperience with CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Spinnaker, Docker)Deliver with a quality mindsetCommunicate and collaborate with your team, peers & leadershipMinimum Qualifications

You have successfully managed teams who have built and run large/distributed web applications or desktop products that are used by many customersYou have built engineering teams with diverse skill sets, attracting good talent, coaching, motivating, and mentoring your team members to grow in their careersYou have established a technical strategy and roadmap with your teams, successfully setting key performance metrics in close collaboration with other engineering teams and product ownersYou have significant technical experience and expertise in the design, development, and delivery of robust and scalable systems and applicationsYou have demonstrated experience in adapting and improving engineering best practices across your teams (e.g., test-driven development, continuous delivery, scrum practices, automation, etc.)Proven track record establishing and driving technical advances, reducing tech debt, and making significant improvements to your systems/platformsYou have past experience doing hands-on work in at least one discipline of backend systems, distributed systems, mobile/client/desktop engineeringDemonstrate having collaborated with tech leads and senior engineers, product owners, and designersAbout Autodesk

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $169,400 and $273,900. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.Equal Employment Opportunity
