General Purpose : Maintain the general ledger and ensure ledger is in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

Principal Responsibilities :Maintain general ledger in accordance with GAAPPrepare journal entries in accordance with GAAPReconcile ledger accounts to ensure accuracyEnsure accuracy of monthly and annual financials in accordance with GAAPAnalyze and investigate variances in trends of financial dataAssist with annual auditsAssist with post-acquisition accounting and integrationParticipate in special projects, continuous process improvements and other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :Must have general ledger experienceMust have month-end/year-end close experienceIn-depth understanding of GAAPMust be able to work independently, a self-starterExperience with Workday is preferred, but not requiredAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills - vlookups and pivotsStrong oral and written communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailFlexible and the ability to multi-task, work well under pressure and meet deadlinesAble to handle complex and confidential information with discretion

Education and/or Training :Minimum Bachelor’s degree in AccountingCombination of public and industry accounting experience preferred4-6 years of experience in the accounting fieldCPA preferred but not requiredMust be authorized to work in the US without employer sponsorship
