The Cloud Platform Experience team is responsible for developing and operating our SS&C cloud portal, which provides teams the ability to self-service infrastructure (compute, network, storage) for their application needs. We have a variety of front-end, back-end and operational work as we strive to provide full-service ownership for our applications and services.You will be partnering with software and operations engineers to support a modern private cloud that can handle the requirements for a global company. Work with a team of engineers supporting and enhancing our enterprise cloud platform.Duties include software design, implementation and testing.Follow established team patterns and practices.Work with various technologies that facilitate full-stack software development including Java Spring, Angular, CI/CD, Kubernetes, VMs, containers, databases, and more.Enhance and maintain documentation, test and demo code changes, reviewing pull requests.What You Will Bring:
Engineering degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent work experience5+ years of development experience (Go, Java, Python or other languages)A solid foundation in object-oriented and cloud native designExperience in writing HTTP services in higher-level languages (e.g., Java/Spring, Go)Experience with relational and document databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, etc.)Experience learning new open-source software, APIs and frameworksExposure to automated testing, modern CI/CD pipelines, Docker, KubernetesFamiliar with bash, Git, JIRA and agile methodologies.Preferred Qualifications:
