https://www.trustwave.com .At Trustwave, a Business Development Representative (BDR) acts as the liaison between our Marketing and Sales teams, seeking new business opportunities by developing relationships with potential customers. As a BDR, you are responsible for reviewing, contacting, and strategizing with your team to properly qualify marketing/sales generated leads and teaming with the Account Executive to close.Who Are You And What You’ll DoYou’re an innovative, energetic, and motivated business development representative (BDR) to successfully engage cybersecurity professionals. You will be focused on outbound prospecting (cold outreach via phone, email, etc.) and strategizing with the Account Executive based on your territory. You may also be pursuing inbound leads, qualifying active buying interests by using the principles of BANT, and setting meetings for Account Executives.Essential Job FunctionsProactively seeking new business opportunities in the market through outbound prospecting and working directly with your AE.Researching accounts to identify key contacts and provide account intelligence.Identifying prospects and customers’ needs to personalize outreach and suggest appropriate products/services.Setting up meetings between prospects generated from cold outreach and Account Executives.Staying up to date with new Trustwave products/services.Utilizing Salesforce daily to accurately reflect pipeline, account activity, and be able to report on it to leadership.Supporting the growth of our Sales team by providing an entry point and training ground to be an Account Manager or Account Executive.In addition, there may be some qualification of leads from inbound marketing campaigns into revenue generating opportunities.Skills & Experience RequirementsExceptional management, interpersonal, written, and presentation skills.Competitive nature looking to exceed quota targets and desire to advance their career.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high growth, rapidly changing environment.Experience or knowledge of the Information/Cyber Security industry.Strong oral (phone) and written (email) communication skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.Experience working with a customer relationship tool is preferred, expertise with Salesforce or another CRM tool.EducationA high school diploma or equivalent is required; a college or university degree is a plus.This is a remote opportunity open to anyone legally authorized to work in the USA.
