Position Overview

This position will partner with the brand management, sales planning, and operations finance teams to drive profitable growth for the business. This role will be responsible for sales & profitability forecasting and reporting & analysis of brand financial results. The role will also support each brand’s long-term strategic plan, select product pricing and coordination of deal approvals. The ability to effectively work across multiple business functions is critical to the success of this position.

Specific ResponsibilitiesPrepare forecasts and analysis of Net Sales and Product Margin partnering with Brand and Sales teams to help bridge Demand Plan to Forecast.Review proposed promotional activities and give recommendation based on Segment strategic and financial goals.Develop reporting and analytics of product/customer profitability to support the brand management organization and portfolio management initiatives.Support new product development financial modeling.Assist in preparation of the annual sales plan and long-term strategic plan.Assist with month-end and quarter-end close activities including variance commentary and reporting.Ability to manage multiple priorities, as timeline to action may be tight and require significant cross-functional coordination.Strong business acumen and ability to share business knowledge with non-financial individuals.Ad hoc projects as assigned.

The CandidateKey QualificationsStrong analytical skills.Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.3 – 5 years of relevant finance experience, preferably in Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG).Proficiency in MS Office applications (Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), computer literate.Experience with SAP and Oracle/Hyperion planning systems strongly preferred.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Self-motivated in achieving goals and completing routine tasks.Ability to work as part of a team and interface with others across all levels of the organization.
