Qualifications
JD from an accredited law schoolAdmitted to practice in the state of New York5+ years defending personal injury claims venued in NY Supreme Courts, including having led plaintiffs' depositions and drafted substantive motionsExperience with premises liability claimsSuperior analytical skillsProfessional written work product, with the ability to concisely explain what matters most and why for clients, courts, and litigant counselLegal project management experience is helpfulResponsibilities
Claim investigation: client and non-party interaction with paralegal support to efficiently address what matters mostUnderstanding the anatomy to independently evaluate medical causation and interact with the medical professionConduct 50-h hearingsConducting and defending depositionsUnderstanding and applying CPLR discovery rules, to oversee, evaluate, and enforce external and internal party complianceSettlement negotiations and ADR ForumsRegularly handle court appearances and conferencesSpearhead claim resolution goals and execute resolution strategiesWhy Should You Apply?
