Who You Are…

The Sr. Director Product Management, Digital Discovery & Inspiration is a key member of the Nordstrom Product Management team, championing the customer experience evolution through data-driven insights using a variety of qualitative and quantitative inputs and delivering key features, functionality and programs for Nordstrom. Product Management is responsible for making sure we build the right products and features for our customers and business. To accomplish that, product managers plan the product roadmap and prioritize the applicable technology backlog, lead product discovery, and measure and communicate results of the feature portfolio in production, all while ensuring stakeholder alignment.

Critical Experiences

Digital Expertise: Deep knowledge of digital assets and how leverage them to drive brand awareness and engagement with a customer base, from discovery and inspiration, to search, to evaluation.Experience owning a customer journey, defining a big three-year vision, and leading a team that builds the product roadmap for critical parts of Search, Browse and Navigation digital experiences.Nordstrom customers want to be inspired while searching and browsing our websites and apps, looking to easily discover the best, most relevant products, services, and content that Nordstrom has to offer. The discovery landscape is constantly changing, with customer expectations, technology, and discovery experiences evolving. In addition, our catalog is dynamic and increasing. Develops roadmap strategy, vision, business benefits, and prioritization of goals for the websites, apps and other channel initiatives.Ensures alignment on priorities and direction by partnering with other groups, stakeholders and leaders.Partners with UX, Research, and Engineering on feature design.Drives ownership of features and services throughout the product lifecycle for our cross-channel customer experiences.Collaborates with peers and leaders across the enterprise to solicit needs, define vision and ensure outcomes align with enterprise priorities and goals.Hires and supervises an efficient and effective team that meets the needs of the product management strategies.Partners with technology teams to deliver key features and functionality that enhance the customer experience across Nordstrom channels.Monitors & identifies customer needs staying current on industry standards/trends and respond by making adjustments to user experience and product roadmaps.Maintains a strong understanding of available technologies and apply technology solutions, where appropriate, to improve efficiency and ultimately benefit the customer.You own this if you have…

10+ years’ experience or equivalent with 3+ years of management experience required, specifically in product management with technology or ecommerce company preferred.Bachelors’ degree in math, statistics, finance, economics, or related quantitative discipline is preferred.Ability to inspire others, including demonstrated experience managing and leading strong teams.Ability to define, measure and analyze processes to identify improvement opportunities.Technical background and understanding of software development principles and A/B testing.Ability to build relationships cross-functionally with multiple teams from areas such as Analytics, Engineering and User Experience.Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.We’ve got you covered…

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

WA, CO, CA, NV: Base Salary range $165,000-$275,000 annually plus additional cash and equity bonuses.

This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more.
