Meet The Team

The Lead Financial Analyst, Commercial Finance is a key member of the quickly growing and developing Global Commercial Finance team with high visibility to our executive leadership! We are looking for an intellectually curious candidate to help drive Global Commercial Opex reporting and process improvements. The Lead Financial Analyst will report directly to the Director of Commercial Finance and own the execution of consolidated spend analysis, reporting and driving efficiencies. This role will partner closely with the senior leadership team and cost center owners. The ideal candidate will have good interpersonal skills, strong analytical skillset and a strong desire to learn the business. This role will bring value by helping drive insights that allow leadership to make informed and thoughtful business decisions.

Where You Come In

You will assist in the financial planning process, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial modeling to support strategic commercial initiatives, ensuring alignment with company goals.You will develop narratives around the financial data, translating the numbers into strategic implications using accurate and relevant data.You will prepare concise financial reports and presentations highlighting financial performance, variances, and other department specific metrics.You will analyze data and provide recommendations into operational efficiency enhancements.You will deliver presentations with confidence and clarity to engage executive leadership.You will demonstrate intellectual curiosity to learn product and commercial strategies.You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop financial projections for new product launches, marketing campaigns, and other business initiatives.

What Makes You Successful

You have proven experience as a Financial Analyst, including budgeting and basic accounting principles.You bring experience working directly in the Medical Device or Life Science industry.You must possess strong Excel skills, including the ability to build detailed models.You are a power user of data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau and Hyperion) with the ability to be the team lead on analytics.You have the ability to articulate clearly, professional verbal and written communication skills.You effectively convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.You have the ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines while delivering accurate and reliable work.You are detail-oriented and have the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.You bring strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities.You are able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Education And Experience

Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 - 12 years of related experience.At this level a graduate degree may be desirable with 4 years of related experience.

Flex Workplace: Your primary location will be a home office. You will not have an assigned workstation and will work with your manager to determine office visit needs. You must live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km).
