Opening in late 2024, the Grand Hyatt Deer Valley Hotel is in the famed Deer Valley ski resort and approximately 40 minutes from the Salt Lake City International Airport. The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley Hotel is part of a new development, planned to incorporate 17 ski lifts, ±1,600 residential units, 8 hotels with a total of ±1,350 rooms, ±250,000 square feet of conference and retail space, and one of the largest “ski beaches” in the world.The Grand Hyatt is comprised of 387 rooms, inclusive of approximately 26 suites with approximately 25,900 square feet of net indoor meeting space, lobby level 3-meal restaurant and bar, signature bar, pool/après ski bar and grill, coffee bistro, large outdoor event terrace, pool and 3 whirlpools, kids club, and fitness area. The Senior Group Sales Manager is a fully competent individual who has 5 or more years' experience in the sales process and function of a hotel. The Senior Group Sales Manager is a career sales professional and a top producer within hotel sales who has demonstrated through performance a commitment and expertise in direct sales. Responsibilities include:Selling guest rooms, meeting space, and other Hyatt services to customer groups.Managing accounts and conducting site inspections.Soliciting and generating business.Preparing and presenting effective proposals.Maintaining well organized documentation and reports.Utilizing Hyatt systems and coordinating customer service requirements as appropriate.Participating and may lead event meetings, sales, and other staff meetings.Working as a team member with the sales and catering staff.Soliciting complex accounts with potential for business.Assisting the Director of Sales & Marketing with projects.Qualifications

A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.Refined verbal and written communication skills.Must have 5 years of hotel sales experience.Must be proficient in general computer knowledge.Must have selling, negotiating, business writing, and presentation skills training.
