Description

The Senior Project Accountant is responsible for the supervision and accounting related to Fortnight Collective and related Holding and Intercompany ledgers (HOA, Devon Sorrel, FC Holdings and Fortnight Collective). Responsibilities include oversight of the Finance Specialist in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations (cash, amex), timesheets, and system management (Concur, Workamajig). The Senior Project Accountant will lead all other accounting related activities and support the CFO in other forecast and financial analysis functions. This role will be responsible for billing, revenue accounting, all balance sheet account maintenance (fixed assets, prepaids, accruals, and intercompany management), and month-end financial reviews with the Account Management team. This role will be able to perform high-level financial statement prep and analysis and also be able to connect-the-dots, highlighting trends or concerns. This role will help to keep a pulse on cash flow management through weekly oversight of bank reconciliations, Accounts Payable management and Accounts Receivable monitoring, and weekly cash flow forecasting. Month end close will entail journal entries, AMEX reconciliation, running project financial reports and setting up financial reviews with Account Directors. Ad hoc analysis and training of the Account Management team on finance matters, as needed. This position will also be responsible for managing the bookkeeping and billing for the HOA and the real estate entity, Devon Sorrel.

Minimum Requirements

Accounting degree and experience in business finance / accounting (3-5+ years)Experience with Excel, pivot tables, SAP Concur, Quickbooks and Workamajig a plus.
