LHH is looking for a full-time Staff Accountant to join our client growing company in Seattle, WA. This position will be a 6-month contract that is fully onsite at the client location.Job Summary:We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and performing account reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.Key Responsibilities:General Ledger Maintenance:

Assist in maintaining and updating the general ledger by recording financial transactions, posting journal entries, and ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.Reconciliations:

Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations, including bank statements, credit card statements, and intercompany accounts.Accounts Payable/Receivable:

Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including processing invoices, tracking payments, and ensuring timely collection of receivables.Financial Reporting:

Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, for management review.Month-End Close:

Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing and posting journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.Budgeting and Forecasting:

Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by providing financial data and variance analysis.Compliance:

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and relevant regulations. Assist with audits and provide documentation as needed.Expense Reporting:

Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and accuracy of documentation.Fixed Assets:

Maintain the fixed asset register, including recording acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation.Ad Hoc Projects:

Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned by the accounting team.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.1-3 years of experience in accounting or a related field.Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Compensation:
