How You'll Perform The RoleThe Director, Sales – Vegware (East Coast) is responsible for implementing and executing our two-brand strategy with the Vegware brand, as defined in the Annual Operating Plan for the Eco-Products Business Unit, with a focus on achieving brand sales and profitability objectives. This role has responsibility for management and oversight of strategic planning using the Objective Sales Plan in conjunction with the RSM oversight. The incumbent will have corporate customer relationships with a focus on strategic customers on the East Coast. This is a full-time, exempt position based on the East Coast in the United States with travel.

Key Responsibilities:Primary point of contact for general communication between Vegware Packaging Incorporated (VPI) or the US entity and Vegware LTD or the UK entityDrive annual, quarterly, and monthly sales targets for total Vegware sales in the USLead the process of onboarding new customers and large sales opportunities (forecasting, new customer set-up forms, spec sheets, product testing, etc.)Manage all Product and Quality Control (QC) inquiries (damages, credits, communication with Product Development on quality issues)Support Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) and corresponding Brokers for all Objective Sales Process (OSP) Targets with an East Coast focusInternal point person for all Vegware custom projects/prints. Will communicate with Product Development and VPI Creative Services.Provide product detail needed to close conversion opportunities as requested by RSM and other Sales Directors (product comps, specs, and sample coordination)Point person for Product and Zero Waste Specialist (PZW) team on product specifics, existing and developing composter relationships - OSP Waste Division opportunities.Assist in developing and deploying marketing and training materials to assist RSMs in selling efforts (slide decks, shopping guides, and new product launch communications) working collaboratively with Eco-Products and Vegware marketing teams and creative servicesResearch and provide historical Vegware US detail (customer history, past opportunities, and product evolution)Provide broker training and to select customers on Vegware Value Proposition and product assortmentCollaborate with RSMs and Director of Sales for Broker Scorecards as part of the Eco-Products OSP process.

What We Need From You:Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience preferably in the food service industry5+ years of sales management and/or broker management foodservice experienceProven track record in managing, motivating, and developing a sales teamStrong computer skills and experience in software applications including but not limited to Microsoft Excel and Customer Relationship Management softwareExcellent interpersonal communication skillsExcellent negotiation and presentation skillsSuccessful track record in sales-driven environmentsStrong inclination towards sustainability in business and personal environmentsMust be willing to travel up to 50%
