As a National Sales Manager, you will use your creativity and thorough knowledge to secure profitable Meetings and Events for the Atlanta Convention Center. If you are an ambitious, highly energetic person able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while leading your team by example, we have the perfect job for you!ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:All-encompassing acquiring new revenues directly associated with leasing any and all available space on campus.Actively sells and books revenue for the facility in the form of rent, food and beverage, and ancillary products.Identifies new accounts within assigned market segments and directly solicits their events.Solicitation in all forms including travel, phone, direct mail, etc.Position works in tandem and manages sales coordinator to qualify lead sources and prioritize sales process.Become intimately familiar with buildings and all their attributes, capacities, and benefits of use.Prepare vendors and operations team members for campus tours with prospects.Conduct regular site tours of the facility with prospects/clients.Active participation in local industry associations and chapters that align with assigned market segments.Timely and thorough follow-up on leads initiated both independently and by the Sales department in order to lease the Atlanta Convention Center at ANDMORE/AmericasMart.Maintain a detailed account of the sales process and agreements within the database.Quarterly, generate productivity and prospecting reports, and adjust sales process and account strategy accordingly in tandem with Vice President.Ensure that License Agreements are drafted in accordance with Company and Departmental guidelines within a 24-hour timeframe.Conduct research on assigned markets and assess selling conditions.Help to identify and execute strategies to increase market share against a competitive set.Work on special projects as assigned by Vice President and/or other Sr. Officer.Highly Preferred Qualifications3+ years prior related management work experience at convention hotel or convention center sales and/or event manager role.Undergraduate degree from a four-year College or University is preferred.Applicable experience in sales performance metrics.Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Customer-oriented with strong negotiation skills.Analytical and data-driven problem solver.Why you’ll love working at ANDMOREOur Team Members are our most critical asset.
