At Beacon Hill Hospitality, we deliver the customer service functions like front desk management, phone operations, parking and shuttle services that keep hospitals and healthcare locations running smoothly.

We're looking for a hardworking Staff Accountant to support our rapidly growing organization. In this role, the Staff Accountant will prepare and maintain financial records to track the organization's assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, run biweekly payroll and other related financial activities. We're looking for someone who is hardworking and highly motivated to grow into a key player on our HQ Team. In this role, you will be at the core of our financial operations.

Hybrid Role

This job is primarily work-from-home, with on average 4 in office days each month.

Duties And Responsibilities

Handle all bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and daily bank reconciliation.Process bi-weekly payroll and the subsequent payroll journal entries.Oversee essential HR activities: administer employee benefit programs and maintain policies for onboarding, compliance, etc.Administer all aspects of customer billing.Ensure timely payments (i.e. vendors and others) and maintain accurate customer level P&L reports.Manage month-end and year-end financial closings and address vendor-related inquiries.Ensure accurate and timely financial record-keeping and reporting.Manage budget preparation and financial forecasting.Oversee financial controls and procedures.Partner with third-party Accountants for annual financial duties like taxes, audits and other.Preparation and review of monthly account statements and management reports.

Key Skills And Qualifications

In-depth knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.Proficiency in financial software (Quickbooks) and tools.Excellent organizational, time management, and attention to detail.Acute attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Effective problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.A phenomenal work ethic to help us build this organization.Experience in a start-up environment a plus.
