8+ years of overall experienceProcurement domain expertise is a must (Procure2Pay or something similar dealing with suppliers and services)Responsibility for managing procurement data set, developing reports, and troubleshooting data issues. To do well in this role you need a very fine eye for detail, experience as a data analyst, and deep understanding of the popular data analysis tools and databases.Your Responsibilities
Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reportsDevelop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and qualityAcquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systemsIdentify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data setsFilter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problemsWork with management to prioritize business and information needsLocate and define new process improvement opportunitiesUse statistical methods to analyze data and generate useful business reportIdentify and recommend new ways to save money by streamlining business processesUse data to create models that depict trends in the customer base and the consumer population as a wholeWork with departmental managers to outline the specific data needs for each business method analysis projectEvaluate changes and updates to source production systemsTrain end users on new reports and dashboardsSkill Sets/Experience We Require
Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analystTechnical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniquesStrong knowledge and experience with reporting packages (Power BI etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (Python, JSON, XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks)Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracyAdept at queries, report writing and presenting findingsGood written and verbal communication skillsCoupa experience is a nice to havePedigree
Bachelors’ degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
