This St-Louis based company is currently seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to support its Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) functions. This role will be responsible for working across functions to drive improved financial reporting, forecasting, analytics, and M&A support for the organization. This is a great opportunity to join a high growth business and gain valuable in-house financial and corporate development experience by joining a strong team and working directly with executive management.Requirements / Qualifications:3-5 years of Financial Planning & Analysis, Corporate Development, or Mergers & Acquisition support workDemonstrated experience in financial modelingWorking knowledge of applicable finance/accounting principlesStrong project management, planning, and organization skills, including ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentMain Job Tasks And Responsibilities:Develop accurate monthly reporting packages for Senior leaders providing visibility to actual performance and focus on understanding variances to the budget and forecastCreate relevant key performance indicators to drive a better understanding of the businessDrive the monthly forecasting cadence across the organization and build simple and effective analytical tools to enable better trend analysisDevelop an efficient, collaborative annual budgeting cycle incorporating input from all business partnersSupport financial and business due diligence on potential acquisition targets and support day-to-day diligence functions including management of external data room, meeting/call logistics coordination, and external advisor discussionsCollaborate with groups across the organization to support M&A integration efforts, including organizational documents and spreadsheets that detail specific diligence/integration tasks, responsibilities, timelines, and milestonesHelp research the industry landscape to further develop and manage the M&A pipeline, including assigning outreach to acquisition targetsAssist with presentations to the executive team and the board of directorsWork closely with Chief Financial Officer, Chief Strategy Officer, and divisional financial and operational leadersVarious other standard and ad hoc projects and initiatives, as required
