General Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and lead the deployment, automation, and management of our software applications on the Azure platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Azure technologies and experience with DevOps tools and practices. The Senior DevOps Engineer will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Builds, maintains, and scales our Azure-based applications using ARM templates and Azure DevOps pipelines.Automates, builds, and assists in deployment, and testing processes using modern DevOps tools.Collaborates with development teams to identify and resolve application performance issues.Manages the configuration and deployment of cloud infrastructure.Develops and maintains monitoring and alerting systems to ensure the availability and reliability of our applications.Provides technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.Participates in code reviews and contributes to the continuous improvement of our software development processes.Stays up to date with the latest Azure and DevOps trends and technologies.Provides On Call support for production related activities.Respond constantly and aggressively to application build, deployment, and infrastructure requirements.Identifies problems and addresses them proactively.Performs other related duties as assigned.Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science or related field.Seven (7) years of experience in Azure-based software development and DevOps.Extensive experience with Azure technologies, including virtual machines, virtual networks, storage accounts, and Azure DevOps.Pass a physical (medical) examination that includes a drug screen in order to operate DART non-revenue vehicles.Proficiency of PC software applications to include Microsoft Office or other related software applications.Strong experience with ARM templates and Azure DevOps pipelines.Solid understanding of .NET/C# development and architecture.Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.Knowledge of networking, security, and infrastructure as code principles.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.Working Conditions:

Works in an environment where there is minimum exposure to dust, noise, or temperature. May be moderately exposed to unpleasant working conditions to include dust, noise, temperature, weather, petroleum products, and chemicals while visiting DART's operating facilities, assuming incumbent is observing all policies and procedures, safety precautions and regulations, and using all protective clothing and devices provided.Note: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job.
