Understanding and valuing these differences optimizes the potential of both the individual and the firm.HarbourVest is an equal opportunity employer.This position will be a hybrid work arrangement, which translates to 3 days minimum per week in the office.Reporting into the Head of Client Operations, the primary function of this role is to lead transformation for Client Operations, including Fund Accounting, Portfolio Analytics, Performance Measurement, Client Experience, and Treasury functions. This position is responsible for driving strategic planning and transformation from conception to implementation and adoption while partnering with internal partners at all levels of the organization both within Client Operations and across the firm.The ideal candidate is someone who is:Able to build strong partnerships, drive consensus and influence senior leadership across the organizationProactive, positive, and agileA strong problem solver that can use their analytical skills to develop and implement creative solutions for the businessAn excellent communicatorWhat you will do:Work with Client Operations leadership to identify opportunities to drive transformation through process improvement, automation, implementation of technology, and re-imagining of operational modelsLead cross-functional transformation efforts ensuring that solutions are supported by robust control frameworks and efficiently designed processesDefine implications of transformation efforts to P&L and cost savingsPeriodically communicate transformation initiatives to HarbourVest senior leadership through a variety of channelsCollaborate with HarbourVest’s Data & Analytics teams to deploy business intelligence toolsSupport firm-wide transformation initiatives by serving as a key team member representing the Client Operations organizationWhat you bring:Proven track record in leadership roles in Finance or Consulting, Asset Management experience is preferred but not requiredExperience in enterprise transformation initiativesExpertise in delivering sophisticated, cross-functional initiativesProficiency in utilizing data and metrics to drive decision making and link operating performance to the firm’s long-term objectivesHands-on experience with BI tools such as data sourcing, visualization and process automationEducation Preferred:Bachelor of Arts (B.A) or equivalent experienceBachelor of Science (B.S) or equivalent experienceExperience Preferred:8-10 Years of relevant experience in Financial Services or Consulting, preferably at a large institution.
