OVERVIEW:The Associate Financial Analyst researches, plans, and evaluates the effectiveness of processes, systems, procedures, or methodologies through review and evaluation of detailed data. They will use professional education to identify, analyze, and resolve issues and interpret company policy. This position will assist in the financial reporting of Canon Americas.
This position is full-time and offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in the office Mondays and Wednesdays, with the option to work from home the remainder of the week unless a specific business need arises requiring in-office attendance on other days. Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in monthly/quarterly/annual consolidation book closing process.
Provide assistance to the financial reporting teams at the subsidiaries.
Assist in maintaining Hyperion consolidation software.
Coordinate preparation and completion of Employee Savings plan audit.
Assist in preparation of SOX documentation.
Complete various governmental surveys.
QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience required, plus 0 to 2 years of related experience.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Candidate for CPA exam, or CPA license, preferred.
Spanish language fluency, preferred.
