Prime Solutions Group (PSG), Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer to integrate and test complex systems and/or software applications to meet or exceed customer requirements and company objectives. The Senior Software Test Engineer creates domain knowledge, data processing software, testing procedures, complex tests, as well as analyzes test data and reports. The ideal applicant creates and manages software/hardware testing frameworks for embedded systems, has experience designing, developing, and testing embedded software, and is experienced in writing and testing C/C++ or Python for simulation and test execution.The Senior Software Test Engineer collaborates with cross-functional agile teams to integrate and test software solutions throughout the software development and product lifecycle, and works closely with other engineers, project managers/product owners, and stakeholders to ensure requirements are met. The Senior Software Test Engineer applies best practices and tailorable modern methods to fulfill requirements through the life of the program/project. This position establishes a career path for the successful and motivated applicant to expand into systems and software methodology expertise with special emphasis on the architectures needed to accomplish those functions on advanced systems and System of Systems. The experience you will gain on testing these methodologies puts you in the driver’s seat for exciting technical and management leadership roles.This unique position requires a self-starting professional who will represent PSG with the customer in the customer’s facility. PSG is seeking to fill this position with a career-minded entrepreneurial candidate capable of establishing PSG’s presence and a leader in our newly forming Engineering Services office in the Washington Metro Area.Requirements
U.S. CitizenshipActive Top Secret (TS) clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field9+ years experience with BS degree or 7+ years experience with MS degree, and relevant testing experience in large scale systems.Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and best practicesExperience with scripting languages such as C, C++, Python, or similarDesired Traits and/or Skills:
Advanced computer skills, including statistical/data analysis and report writingExperienced and knowledgeable in the integration of quality checks throughout the development cycle of software tools and applicationsStrong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organizationStrong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detailSelf-motivated and have a demonstrated history of working independentlyDemonstrate a growth mindset and exhibit a highly collaborative workstyleAbility to work in a fast-paced, agile environmentSix Sigma certificationRelevant Quality Engineering Experience and/or CertificationsINCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) certificationsExperience testing complex systems in a classified environment and developing test automation scripts in a continuous development/continuous integration environment
