This position offers an incredible opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, dealing with a broad range of business, real estate, bankruptcy, banking & financial, and contract law matters. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal advice to our clients, managing complex cases, and contributing to the growth and success of our firm. This is a full-time, permanent position, requiring a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience.ResponsibilitiesProvide expert legal support and advice to our clients on a variety of legal matters including business, real estate, bankruptcy, banking & financial, and contract law.Prepare, review, and negotiate complex legal documents and agreements.Represent clients in court proceedings, negotiations, and dispute resolutions.Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case preparations and provide accurate legal advice.Develop and implement effective legal strategies to resolve cases efficiently and favorably.Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions with clients and colleagues.Foster and develop relationships with clients, offering legal advice that meets their business objectives.Contribute to the growth and development of the firm, including business development activities.Mentor and guide junior attorneys, promoting a collaborative and inclusive work environment.QualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.A minimum of 5+ years of experience in business law, bankruptcy law, real estate law, banking & financial law, and contract law.Admission to the MD state bar.Proven experience as a legal counsel in business environments.Excellent negotiation and communication skills.Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills.Demonstrated ability to create legal defensive or proactive strategies.High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and gravitas.Excellent judgement and ability to analyze situations and information objectively, making sound decisions.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Proficient understanding of complex legal procedures and protocols.Ability to mentor and lead junior staff effectively.Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.Strong business acumen and ability to understand the client's business objectives.Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
