is seeking a
Radiological Technologist
to join our highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Team at
Rumford Hospital !The
Radiological Technologist
performs a variety of imaging procedures and is responsible for patient safety protocols.Rad techs are trained to perform and become certified in both X Ray and CT!Functions as one of the first line interfaces with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs.Education and Experience:Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and/or Nuclear Medicine Technologist with a current ARRT or NMTCB Certification in Computed Tomography.Current or within 1 month of hire American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BCLS certification. Re-certification of existing employees is due within 1 month of expiration date.Knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.Possesses a high level of knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy when performing CT.Proficiency with X-Ray and knowledge or training of CT equipment, hardware, and software (GE, Siemens, Phillips, and Toshiba preferred).If you are passionate about making a difference and are looking for your next great career opportunity, we look forward to reviewing your application!
