Responsibilities
Provides legal advice and representation to individuals and businesses seeking patent, trademark, or copyright protection.Evaluates viability of patent and/or trademark requests.Completes and files trademark, service mark, patent, and copyright applications and registrations.Assesses evidence of infringement or dilution cases.Prepares and files briefs, motions, and other judicial pleadings.Participates in and manages litigations for cases involving intellectual property disputes.Facilitates the discovery process including interviews and depositions of witnesses.Requirements
Possess a Juris Doctorate Degree.Licensed Patent and Trademark Practitioner.5+ years of patent and trademark experience with a transferable book of business.Proficiency with MS Office Suite.Strong research, analytical, and communication skills required.
