About The Role
Reporting to the Director of Accounting, the Accounting Manager will perform a variety of general accounting duties. The primary focus of this position will be to prepare timely and accurate consolidated financial statements, and perform, prepare, and/or maintain the following: journal entries, general ledger account analyses and reconciliations, and various reports for senior management. In this role, you will prepare documentation supporting the compliance of ASC 606 and ASC 842 and take the lead for the year-end statutory audit.

Oversee the monthly closing procedurePrepare, review, and analyze consolidated financial statements to ensure accuracy and completenessReview and approve journal entriesPrepare various reports for senior managementSupervise general ledger accounting functionsLead the fiscal year-end audit of the company’s consolidated financial statementOversee and administer the requirements of ASC 606, ASC 842, and other relevant accounting standardsServe as the lead for regulatory and tax audits for its subsidiariesWork with foreign CPA firms to ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including annual filings and income tax returnsLiaise with the VP of Finance to ensure alignment with the company’s operational functionsDevelop insightful reports based on financial and non-financial data to meet reporting requirements while adapting to organizational changesPerform other ad-hoc assignments and special projects as requiredWhat You Bring
6+ years of experience – a mix of “Big 4” public accounting and manufacturing / cost accounting2+ years of Big Four management experience is required3+ years of SAP experience preferredStrong GAAP, general ledger, and consolidations knowledgeExperience with ASC 606 and ASC 842 requiredGreat interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsMust be self-motivated, highly detailed, and organizedMust have advanced Excel skills (e.g., vlookup, pivot tables, etc.)Strong time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlinesMust have the ability to work independently and in a team environment and adapt to a changing environmentMust have strong analytical and problem-solving skillsBS in Accounting, MBA preferredCPA certification requiredPrevious experience working for a large manufacturing organization with sales greater than $200MAbout ZT Systems
