Our team members learn the business from the inside-out and as our business grows, the opportunities abound.Summary:The Vice President of Talent Acquisition and Development is a senior leadership role responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of talent acquisition and development strategies within an organization. This position plays a critical role in attracting, acquiring, and nurturing top talent, as well as developing and retaining employees to support the organization's growth and success.Key Responsibilities:Talent Acquisition Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. Collaborate with senior executives and hiring managers to understand talent needs and develop effective sourcing, recruitment, and selection strategies.Learning and Development: Develop and implement strategies for employee development and career growth. Partner with HR and business leaders to identify learning needs, design training programs, and implement development initiatives that enhance employees' skills, knowledge, and competencies.Employer Branding: Develop and promote the organization's employer brand to attract and retain high-caliber talent. Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to create compelling employer branding materials and messages that highlight the organization's culture, values, and opportunities for growth.Talent Pipelining: Implement strategies to build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for key positions and future needs. Proactively identify potential candidates and develop relationships through networking, industry events, partnerships, and talent communities.Onboarding and Orientation: Develop and oversee effective onboarding and orientation programs to ensure new hires are successfully integrated into the organization. Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to design programs that support employee engagement, productivity, and retention.Performance Management: Oversee the performance management process, ensuring clear goals, regular feedback, and performance evaluation systems are in place. Collaborate with HR to provide guidance and support to managers in performance coaching, talent assessment, and career development conversations.Succession Planning: Implement succession planning processes to identify high-potential employees and develop talent pipelines for critical roles. Work closely with HR and senior leaders to create development plans, career paths, and mentoring opportunities for high-potential individuals.Talent Analytics: Utilize data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of talent acquisition and development initiatives. Monitor key metrics, such as time-to-fill, quality of hires, retention rates, and employee performance. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to drive continuous improvement.Qualifications and Education Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, organizational development, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.Extensive experience in talent acquisition, talent management, or human resources leadership roles, preferably in a growing retail environment.Strong knowledge of talent acquisition strategies, recruitment best practices, and employment laws and regulations.Experience in designing and implementing learning and development programs, career development frameworks, and succession planning efforts.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive decision-making.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.Strong organizational skills for multitasking and prioritizing workloads.SPHR preferred.Benefits Include:Medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance within 30 days.Unlimited PTO.Paid holidays.401k retirement plan with vested employer match.Career advancement opportunities.EXCEPTIONAL work environment!Employees and their spouse or legal partner receive free laser hair removal services.All potential employees of Milan will be required to successfully pass a pre-employment background check prior to employment.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
