Location: Princeton, NJ
Description of work:User Research: Conduct user research to gather insights, identify pain points, and understand user needs related to the Design System.Design: Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for components and patterns within the Design System.Development: Completing the front-end development for custom software applications.Collaboration: Work closely with the Product Owner, UI designers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the Design System is holistic, cohesive, and user-centric.Design Testing: Utilize various testing methodologies to validate design solutions and ensure they meet user needs and expectations.Documentation: Assist in documenting design guidelines, component usage, and best practices to ensure consistency and clarity for all users of the Design System.Feedback Integration: Actively seek feedback from peers, stakeholders, and users, and iterate on design solutions based on this feedback.Trend Analysis: Stay updated with the latest UX trends, tools, and methodologies to ensure the Design System remains modern and user-friendly.Accessibility: Design with a focus on inclusivity, ensuring that components and patterns adhere to accessibility standards.Required Education:
At least a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or closely related field is required.
