VP of FP&A

leader who can elevate typical financial planning motions to highest stakes decision making forums that eliminate the gaps and risks from strategy through execution.

Responsibilities:Spearheads the financial transformation journey, redefining how FP&A contributes to strategic decision-making at the Executive Staff level.Active Instigator who spots dissonance and flaws in functional operating plans (Product, Sales, Marketing and Customer Success) and guides Executives, together with their Operations leads, to deliver plans that support the company's AOP and commitments to the Board.Proactively reaches out to influence the Executive team, becomes trusted advisor and gets sought after vs. reactively called on to answer spot questions.Expert communicator who articulates and champions financial strategies.Skillfully navigates Line of Business tensions.

Challenges conventional norms by introducing innovative financial models and analysis techniques that result in believable, actionable and insightful forecasting and budgeting outcomes.

Experiments and implements new approaches to financial forecasting and budgeting, demonstrating non-linear thinking with innovative techniques such as probabilistic and Monte Carlo simulation.

Instills a culture of financial rigor and agility, ownership and accountability and continuous improvement across the company.

Requirements:Proven track record (15+ years) of driving transformational change in FP&A roles, particularly within high-growth enterprise B2B startups (late stage commercialization: $75M+ ARR).Has managed through major corporate developments (IPO, M&A, recapitalization) and/or disruptions (pivots, missed earnings, company resizing) – Not business as usual.Leader and builder of efficient FP&A functions through investing in the right systems and processes; fully integrated with other Finance functions (Controllership, IR, Treasury); willing to roll up sleeves to do the work at the beginning while building an A+ team over time.Ability to manage external stakeholders such as investment bankers, investors, investor relations and has experience with private-to-public or M&A transactions.

US Pay Range:The US annual base salary range for this full-time position is $277k - $358k + benefits + 401(k) match + equity. The pay range is determined by the role, work location, job-related skills, level, experience and relevant education. [Certain roles are eligible to earn sales commission, depending on the terms of the applicable plan.] The range displayed is the minimum and maximum target base salary and is applicable only for new hires for the listed position located in the US. Your total compensation package will be based on job-related knowledge, education, certifications and location, per our aligned ranges.
