Position Summary

The Senior Human Resources Generalist will take direction from the Human Resources Director in support of manufacturing and corporate client groups including employee relations, talent acquisition, benefits administration and other duties as assigned.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities

Play a role in the planning and successful execution of key initiatives which include: Human Resource policy interpretation and the oversight/administration of Human Resource procedures and assist with handbook updates and revisions. Develop and support development plans and structure for hourly workforce. Help advance the onboarding process beyond employee's first day. Prompt investigation and resolution of employee issues. Coach and council supervisors and management in the facilitation and feedback of annual performance appraisal and review process, including data collection for merit increases. Maintain monthly safety reporting and Human Resource compliance data management. Manage Time and Attendance Policy for the plant hourly population, issue warnings, and adjust attendance points as warranted in a timely manner. Identify and measure Human Resource metrics and report on a regular basis. Supporting general employee communications and occasional training Assist in the development of job descriptions, organizational structure changes and knowledge transfer. Lead employee investigations, resolving Human Resource and Payroll issues raised by employees, and responding to employees' concerns and questions. Requirements

Experience and Education

Bachelor's degree in HR, HRM, HRD, or Business-related field required 3+ years Human Resource generalist experience in a manufacturing environment required Bi-Lingual (Spanish) a definite asset to this role Highly proficient skills with the latest versions of MS Suite Knowledge of local, state, and federal labor laws Ability to maintain total confidentiality. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and people skills while always treating employees with respect. Possess strong business orientation and process improvement skills. Desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach. This role requires flexibility to work variable shifts on occasion. PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
